Answers

1. They way the Yucata'n Peninsula has changed in the last 3 decades are that the reef is dying because of careless scuba divers and snorklers , and because of the sun and the white sandy beaches they have attractedmore tourists and there are more buildings. sooner or later the reefs and sand will be no longer like they are now.
2. The two ways that tourists and devlopers threaten the coral reefs are that they dump plastic and garbage waste from the hotels and shops and people scuba dive and mess up the coral reefs. soon there will be no more coral reefs.
3. The way corol reefs are threatened by seeps are oil seeps from the cars to the water, pipes are connected to the under water cave water and underground rivers and sewage leaks. which eventually gets into the ocean.
4. The cenotes in the yucatan are surface pools connecting underwater caves and rivers.
5. Scientists are mapping out the fresh water path by divers and echo location divice. through these they have found out that underwater caves and riviers are leading fesh water out into the ocean by reef.
6. Scientist want to accomplish with this mapping is they want to map out all the caves and rivers that lead into the ocean so that they can stop the fresh water from destorying the coral reefs.

Summary

This movie is about how we are polluting and destorying the white sand and coral reefs in Mexico. The Yucatan used to be a nice beautiful white sand beach and nice blue water with wonderful coral reefs. Now, it is being destoyed by us. This beach atracts a lot of people so more business. Careless people have been killing the reefs. People are killing it by dumping waste and plastic into the water. It is also being threatened by fresh water and seeps which is oil and sewage leaks getting into the ocean. We can prevent all this from happening, and save the reefs, if we put our minds to it. If we try to save our earth, than we can.

About the movie
The yucatan used to be a beautiful white sand beach with a reef with plenty of life. Before poeple started building buildings there used to be lots of plants and it was a beautiful sight. Now there are lots of buildings and a lot more tourists andso the white sand beach is fading and the coral reef is dying. Scientists traveled into underground caves and rivers and are trying to find out where all the fresh water is going and how it is getting there. Scientists went to check on the coral reef and found fresh water and now they are trying to find out where it is coming from. Scientists are mapping out a way for the fresh water to go without destroying the coral reef.

Good job explaining the situation in the Yucatán Peninsula. Your summaries are a little redundant.
